"The Barn Swallow" - Block Nine

Up in the storage rafters of the Olmstead Barn sits a mother Barn Swallow.  She is keeping her newly hatched chicks hidden, safe and warm atop a stack of primitive Cheese Boxes. 
 
The design is an adorable primitive storybook style snapshot of wholesome farm living.  This 14” X 17” door or wall hanging is also Block Nine of the quilt series, “The Stories of a Barn”.
